My church bought a HHB CDR830 CD Recorder from you in Sep 2006. The unit has developed a fault and I was wondering if this is possibly covered by an extended warranty.
The contact who made the purchase ([edited] has since left the church and I have been unable to locate the paperwork.
Any advice you are able to provide would be appreciated.
Thank you,

Hi Martin, I'm afraid that the warranty has expired on that unit. we can still have a look at it for you if you'd like, but we would have to charge a fee for the service.
Could you tell me what exactly is wrong with the unit? It's possible that a driver/firmware update may help solve the problem without having to return it to us.

Thanks Nye,
The unit appears to record ok, but upon pressing stop it either goes into 'repair' mode or shows 'check disc'. I don't even get far enough to be able to finalize the disc.
Eventually the display shows 'new disc' and the disc is still blank.
I have tried different types of disc.
Thanks, Martin

Hi Martin, That sounds to me like a hardware problem. I've checked and unfortunately we are unable to service this unit here ourselves. However if you go to this link and fill in the form they should be able to assist you: http://www.hhb.co.uk/hhb/uk/support/Service/repairform.asp
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
