I ordered 500 Unbranded Full Surface Silver Printable CDRs from you. After doing an initial run of 250 CDs I have been regularly bothered by customers who say the disks won't play in their players. I thought the problem was with my duplicator, hence the delay in contacting you. Since then I have tried other media and the problem did not recurr, so the problem is with the media. It has cost me a great deal of time and money (re-posting CDs, servicing the duplicator etc) and I hope that at the very least you are able to refund me the cost of the remaining 250 disks which are still in unopened spindles of 50. If you can recommend a similar disk that is more reliable I will be happy to do an exchange. Please contact me with an option as soon as possible since I need to complete orders for working CDs immediately.
Arthur - further to my colleagues question - can you confirm what discs your ordered and what you received. You can use NERO disc tools if you have it to or DISC identifier to see the manufacturer of the disc. This will be usefull since we have had no other complaints. We can certainly refund you the un opened packs once you send them back under an authroised return. But I would be interested to know what the problem is. It might be to do with the speed you are trying to burn them at. The duplicator may nopt recognise them as a 52X disc or such, especially if the duplicator is older... try to reduce your burn speed. best regards.

Arthur - I understand your concerns - if you wish to maintain your reputation you are going to need to use the same disc everytime. I recommend either Taiyo Yuden (which has a blue underside) for maximum compatability followed by MPO. We wont be able to send a courier to pick up the discs. So you will need to send back with royal mail or other, include your receipt and we can refund your shipping. ALternatively, if you buy another disc we can get the driver to collect when he delivers (thus the return will be easy and without cost to yourself) Kind regards.

Thanks again for your reply. Due to the need for creating the most 'standard' looking audio CD possible, I would like to go for one which has a silver underside. I would still like to sample all the possible silver-topped disks, since the most important thing is obviously that they play. That would mean Ritek, MPO and Taiyp Yuden. I believe that I have used Ritek in the past with good results. Would it be possible to put a sample of each in an envelope for me, just so I can be sure what to order? When i'm ready to order I will go for the delivery/collection option you mentioned in order to return the unwanted disks.

Arthur - unfortunately we cant send a sample of th discs. the TY will have a blue underside., the RItek change all the time - although they are listed as ritek this is very much becoming a generic name for discs make by conrex. THe MPO make anice stable diamond silver CDR that will work well for you. Kind regards
