I want to return our GX-1 as we have had intermittant printing problems ever since we bought it. It has been replaced once and I am not confident this product is any good at the simplest of printing tasks. The burner however is fine.
Hi Fiona, I have advised Microboards to contact you in regards to this problem. Have they not made any contact with you? You could upgrade your model to the Rimage 2000i, it is a pricier unit. However Rimage reliability and technical support are far greater than the GX1. regards Steve

Hi Steve, Its the printing. First we had issues with the robotic arm as its kept dropping the disc, then we had colour problems where it would print in some sort of fuzzy pastel even though we had tried numerous new cartridges from Microboards. Now its the sensor that tells the machine when to start printing on the disc, its just lines up the disc and then stops. The first two problems are intermittent and after alot of faffing around you can usually get it working properly again but the disc sensor one is a show stopper at the moment as every single disc has to be manually lined up. Please send the unit back to Microboards at CV34 6TJ - I will forward you the RMA authorisation as a separate email. Please include a printout of it with the box, and include all 'parts'.
Once they have it back and confirm full receipt of it, we will be able to raise a credit note for you - so you can think about what other product you might like to replace it with.
Please let me know (through this ticket system) when you send it back so I can follow it up with Microboards.

Thanks for the info. We are currently looking at getting the Bravo SE and the 5 18X DVD 52X CD PREMIUM SERIES TOWER DUPLICATOR (SD5PREMIUM). What is the aftersales suuport like for these products and can what deals can you do if we buy both from you? Also I am still waiting for Microboards to send a box in which to send their GX1 back like they provided for us last time.

hi Fiona, the SD5 Premium and Bravo SE are both dealt with by CD-Writer.com LTD. There are no other third party aftersales support involved with these two products. My Colleague derrick builds the SD5 Premium and myself I offer technical support on the Bravo SE unit.
