I purchased a HP lightscribe drive, lightscribe CD media and empty cases from you which were delivered yesterday. I would like to return the drive, 3 of the CD media (I have opened and used one of the CDs from one of the boxes) and all of the cases. The drive takes 36 minutes to burn an image onto the CD, which is, unfortunatley far too slow for the use to which I intended to put it.
Hello - the machine is a 4Gig memory, quad core 1.6GHz processor, so it meets the minimum spec about 8 times over... There were no other programmes running and the port being used was a USB2!
I don't think there is a problem with the drive, I think the problem it that it just takes ages to burn a lightscribe disc. The documentation states >30 mins for a full disc. If i had known this at time of order, i would not have purchased it. Please could you generate a RMA for me to return the items?

Hi [edited],
It certainly sounds like your computer meets the specifications! You can send the unit back to us thats not a problem.
Please fill out the following RMA form, and I'll issue with a returns number.
You will then receive an authorisation E-mail with details of how/where to send your unit.

Hi Alex
I have just processed a refund for the returned items, sorry for the delay.
Please note 1 of the dvd cases was missing (only 99 received back), but I have refunded you in full for them and the CDs. The writer is missing its software disc so unfortunately I have had to enforce the 20% restocking fee on that item.
Please note this ticket will now be closed.
Kind regards,

Thanks for this - I have actually found the software disc and will return this to you along with a copy of the RMA note. Please confirm that the 20% restocking fee will be refunded once this has been received.
