Further to our conversation a few minutes ago, we'd like to arrange to return our 1 to 3 copier to you for investigation and repair. For your records, it looks like it was purchased on 27th Oct 2005.

That will not be a problem. Just so you know, for all out of warranty repairs we have a £50 + VAT evaluation charge. You will then be given a quote for the cost of repairs, which includes labour and any necessary components. If you decide to go ahead with the repair, then the evaluation fee will be removed from your bill, meaning you only pay for the repair itself. I'll send you an RMA request form now, which will follow this message. Please complete it ASAP, I can then give you a returns number and authorise the unit for return.

Hi Paul,
Yes of course, that would be absolutely fine. Many of our customers prefer to send the entire unit, just in case the problem lies elsewhere in the machine, but if you are confident it's the controller at fault then by all means send just the controller.
