I want to burn audio CD\'s that will definitely play on all hi-fi CD decks. I can\'t do this at the moment, & I don\'t really understand why. I\'ve tried CD-R blanks burned with my Mac G4 using an Iomega CD-RW external CD drive & Discribe OSX software. I\'ve also tried using TDK CD-RXG Audio blanks and a Philips CDR 560 CD Recorder. Neither method works reliably when I play back on either of my two Denon CD players. A single track CD isn\'t recognised at all; a several-track CD plays but then won\'t eject - I get an error message. The Discribe manual claims that the problem is the high reflectivity of the disc surface - but if so, why do commercial CD\'s always play OK? They don\'t use a different type of blank, do they? Or is it something to do with Red Book standards? Sorry this is so long - can you suggest a solution (that (doesn\'t involve high-end ?2000+ duplicators)?
many thanks
