Unit was tried on a new Nec with a different USB, the strange thing is The CD player was actually recognised and installed by windows, but does not appear in device manager and hence not recognised by burner software

Does the drive show in my computer?
Could you Right click on My Computer and then click on Manage to see if there is any Drive Letter conflicts.
there could be two things wrong with the unit, one and hopefully it is the CD Writer has gone, and two the mainboard which holds the USB has gone wrong.
Should you want to send it to us for analysis and repair, please fill in the RMA Request below. Not to worry about the Invoice number.

Hi James, I've just had a brief look at your Primera Bravo unit, have you attempted to open the unit in anyway as the Print Carriage unit has loosen and come apart. Kind regards Steve

Hi James, Packing was fine. Far Better than the way other customers have packed it. I was just checking as the Ink carriage tray appears to have fallen apart and this has ultimately affected the whole system. I will draw up a quotation for you shortly. So that I can get this unit back to you. Kind regards Steve
