I've recently pruchased 200 x printable blank ritek DVD-Rs form yourselves. The first 50 pack I opened had a fair few DVD's that did not burn. I tested them on both my Laptop and DVD duplication tower. The second 50 pack i opened, again the first three tested didn't burn, and the same goes for the other two 50 packs that I opened. After speaking with your employee David Caunce today 16.09.2010, I tried lowering the burn speed, and this did not help. We both tried to eliminate all of the possibilities, and after these tests it does appear that the problem is with the discs, maybe a faulty batch. I'm requesting thiese discs to be replaced. Sorry to be a pain, would you be able to post us 5 of the failed discs, and 5 of the unburnt (new) discs? I'm under instruction to test the discs because as I mentioned on the phone, we sell thousands of these and haven't heard about any other problems.

Hi Steven. I received your discs this morning, thanks for sending those.
I can clearly see that discs you tried to burn failed mid process, but I used the 5 blank discs you sent me to burn a 4GB DVD - and all 5 passed with no errors.
Obviously this is a little worrying, but its possible you have a problem with your duplicator and the DVD-writer in your computer.
If I got the same error here I would have happily sent you a new pack of discs, but I don't want to do that if you're only going to experience the same fault when they arrive with you. I'm wondering if its worth you sending the duplicator back to us for a test... there could be a deeper rooted problem here that is causing all the errors. Also, did I send you a firmware file to try and update your duplicator yet?
