We have a fault with a Print Factory 2 which was purchased last February. It will no longer feed disks, the problem appears mechanical.
I would like to return this for repair under warrantee.
Kind Regards

Hi Nick,
With your unit being so close to the end of its warranty, it may be best for you to send the goods back to Microboards (the manufacturer) directly. Please follow this link: http://www.microboards.co.uk/rmar.asp and submit the form as soon as possible.
Microboards will reply with an address for you to send the unit.
Kind Regards,

Hello[edited]
Its now almost March and I have had a broken printer for over a month.
This ticket was launched 2008-01-22 11:01:40 which is within the warrantee of this product. I expect CD-Writer.com to honor this warrantee.
I have purchased this product from CD-Writter.com and I want you to deal with Microboards if this is required.
I am currently a very unhappy customer. You have kept me waiting for a month only to suggest that I contact the manufacture directly.
Give me an RMA code and shipping address to return this product to you for repair. I want you to arrange the repair and get the unit returned to me as soon as possible.

AUTHORISATION SENT
David - 2008-02-26 14:10:59
Hi Nick,
CD-Writer will honour the warranty from when you opened the ticket and you may send the unit back to us if you wish. The reason I suggested you send it directly to Microboards was to ensure it is A) registered with them before the end of the warranty (which is 28/02/2008) (B) To decrease the length of time you would be without the unit while it is being repaired and (C) To ensure you get the unit back as soon as possible without waiting any longer than necessary.
But I have authorised the return of the printer to ourselves, so if this is your prefered course of action please send the unit to us ASAP in all original packaging, attaching your RMA number to the outside of the box.

As discussed on the phone, you will now be returning your faulty print factory for return. Sadly we are unable to adhere to the warranty agreement (as it expired on 28/02/2008) but you can send the unit for evaluation and use the same RMA number issued through this ticket. (S631-001).
As you do not have any original packaging, please pack the printer as best you possibly can so it can survive the courier journey!
Once the unit is with us, it will be examined and a quote will be sent to you for the total cost of repairs.
Kind Regards,

Hi Nick, we have assessed your print factory and there are a couple of minor faults that need to be fixed. The cost will be £80 for 2 hours labour plus £12 shipping. Shall I go ahead with the repair?
Unfortunately as it was not returned in the original packaging we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred during transportation.

Yes please go ahead, how do you want to arrange payment, can you invoice us? Or would you prefer a credit card?

Hi Nick,
I'm afraid you do not have a credit account with us so I can not invoice you for the repair. You may however call [edited] and arrange payment over the phone with a credit card. Your repair reference number is [edited].
