Hi there
I purchased 3 Philips webcams - SPC1000NC on the 31st of Oct 2007 and one of them is now not working. It is not a software issue but more hardware as tried in different computers etc. When plugged in no power to webcam, no blue light etc, computer does not even pick up that it is plugged into the USB port.
How do I go about a replacement considering it is less than a year old ?

Have you contacted Phillips? They deal with the warranty on their products directly.

I contacted Philips and they said that because this is within one year that you have to deal with this issue. I got a reference number for you to quote if you need to discuss with Philips - PMS-081022-0185 .
Please let me know the next steps, e.g. address to send the camera back to and when a replacement will be sent etc.

Unfortunately the item was irrepairable, and is no longer available so I can't send you a replacement unit.
This means we will credit you the £30.05 (exc vat) that you paid, for you to use against your next purchase.
So please have a look on our website and see if you can find something you wish to purchase, then order on the website and select 'invoice on order' as your payment method. Two comments really:
- not happy that the credit is excluding VAT, this is not correct. Please advise
- also I would prefer a refund if you cannot supply a replacement.

Apologies if I was not clear - the credit would have been for £30.05 plus the vat (ie £35.31).
Anyway - I have now processed a refund back onto your card.
