I am still waiting for Delkin to get back to me.
Because there is no stock left of this item they are trying to repair the unit, I will hopefully have some further update tomorrow.

Delkin apparently can't repair your unit - but they are expecting a unit in from the USA next week which they will send to you as a replacement.

I have sent the address to Delkin for them to send the unit out - as of friday I know they hadn't yet received it and were chasing it up.

Bad news I'm afraid - I know this sounds unbelievable but apparently part of the delivery to Delkin was stolen, including your replacement unit...
So they are now waiting for another one to be sent from the USA - which will hopefully arrive early next week.
I do apologise - I know this is very frustrating!

I have been chasing this every day with Delkin - if I can't get a definite answer in the next day or so I will have to process the credit note.
I will let you know what I hear - I do apologise again.
If it helps we do have stock of this item - VRD-MC5 DV Direct DVD Recorder - (VRD-MC5) - you can see it here if you think it might be a suitable alternative:

Delkin have confirmed to me that another unit is on it's way from the USA - and is expected to them on monday or tuesday latest. It would then be sent out to you on overnight delivery.
Please let me know if this is acceptable to you so I can instruct them either way.
