Hi
I have two problems with the unit in question:
(1) Every other disc or so, the unit is not placing the CD on the drive tray properly, such that it is sitting on one of the four lips when the drive closes, scratching the CD?s in some instances as the drive tray tries to close. It seems that either the arm is misaligned by a few millimeters, or that the drive tray is not fully extended (I can pull it out a few extra millimeters).
(2) The arm is regularly picking up 2 CDs at a time, rather than one. I am worried that if left unattended, it will damage my CDs or the drive unit itself.
Both of these problems are a bit annoying, as I cannot leave the unit unattended as expected.
Any comments or suggestions?
Please note that the CDs in question are audio CDs, not blanks.
Regards
Nick
Dear Nick, BE advised that the BAXTER could be adjusted by yourself, by way of moving the alignment of the drives. Remove the four screws at the back and you can then get to the screws retaining the drive. Loosen and move drive. Let me know how you get on.
