Dear CD-Writer staff,
I bought an LX400 Label printer from you about two weeks ago but am having problems getting it to work properly. The installation went fine but when printing, only blue and yellow (and green) appears. The color red however is nowhere to be seen (red becomes white, purple becomes blue, orange becomes yellow).
I have contacted Primera on this issue but no answer. I have also followed the instructions in their knowledge base for what to do when there are colors missing on the labels but no success.

Hi Allan,
It sounds like you could possibly have a faulty cartridge. Have you tried a cartridge clean?? (this can be done through the printing preferences)

Yes, I have tried the cartridge clean through the preferences as well as a manual clean with a wet cloth as described in the knowledge base on the Primera webpage. None of these solutions made it any better.
Would it be possible for me to come by your shop and test/exchange the cartridge next week? It is the same cartridge that came in the box.

Yes, I'm sure that would be fine. However did you get chance to try a second cartridge?? What was the result of that?
I only ask because I think your other ticket implied the machine was no longer doing anything at all with the cartridge in (apart from flashing lights). I would like to establish if the fault is indeed with the cartridge or if its with your machine now this new error has appeared.

I have only tried the cartridge that came in the pack.
I haven't reported any other issues and have no problems with flashing lights.

Thanks for clarifying that. I will send the the RMA returns form now as it sounds like you have a faulty cartridge. Please complete the following form and I'll authorise the cartridge for return/replacement.
