We recently purchased a 11 CD/DVD duplication tower and upon powering it us this morning there was a loud clicking from the Hard drive in the tower and now the system no longer sees or interacts with the hard disk.
Hi Paul,
there is a chance that the IDE or power connector snapped off. You or an IT person feeling confident can open the case and simply check the connection on the hard drive. Please let me know if it fixed the unit; if not I will issue you with returns number and we will have the unit repaired at our location.
Regards,
Tom

Will get it open this afternoon and check it, must admit the clicking noise sounded more along the lines of a head jammed in park etc but will have a look.

Thank you Paul,
Please let me know what happened and I will take it from there

Tom
is there anyway that the faulty drive can be replaced by us? We are more than happy to fit it if instructions are sent as we routinely have to rebuild PCs etc from the ground up. If not we will have to arrange the window of oppurtunity to return the unit as it is incredibly difficult to do without it for more than a couple of days.

Hi Paul,
No problem, you can replace the hard drive by yourself. Please send the faulty one under RMA N8717-001-1924 (I have sent you new paperwork as I have noticed that "old" authorisation had wrong number). You will be issued with the replacement HDD upon receiving of the faulty one. Unit can operate without a hard drive so you should be able to use machine without any problems. Please note that any damaging caused by Use's mistake is not covered by warranty.
Kind Regards
Tom
