We have a Print Factory 2 which we have been quoted on by yourself for an initial diagnostics to test the fault. We would like to know the procedure and where to send the printer too?

Hello Claire,
Your unit has been inspected and I am afraid the controller board needs replacing. The cost of a replacement board will be £175.00 (excluding VAT) and additional cost of £40.00 (excluding VAT) for labour. The on/off power switch on the back of the unit is also faulty I am afraid. As far as I am concerned this should not affect how the unit operates, so is not a “vital” repair. However if you want the unit to stop running the fan once you finish the job I'd advise it also be replaced. Please let me know if you would like to proceed with this repair and I will order components from MicroBoards. Please also let me know if you want me to replace power switch and I will get the price for that as well.
