In our last purchase of CDS,
your invoice number N12385 your order number 12385. 200 of the CDs were rejected, would not burn on our burner. The others were fine.
I would like refund for these. Can you arrange for that. Thankyou.
Sorry for the late reply I will issue you with a RMA number to enable you to return the faulty Discs to us, we will then assertain the discs are faulty and issue you with a credit note.
Kind Regards

Hi Carol, is it 2 spindles of discs that dont work? It is most unusual to find this to be the case. Before you retunr them I would like to be sure they are faulty. Do you have Nero software there for disc burning? If so you can use Nero Disk Tools, Disc indentifier to check that they are the same disc as the ones that burnt ok. Do you think you can do this? It may be that the firmware on your DVD/CD burner can be easily updated.

Hi Carol - how long have you had the Bravo.. it may require a firmware update. In order to work better with your current discs. This might be the case if the bravo is 12 months old plus.
Tom will advise you.
Kind regards

Good afternoon,
We have the a Bravo CD Burner, and it rejects them when they are un burnable (I always triple check them) In other words they need to be rejected 3 times before I discard them. There are two spindles worth out of our last order of 12 spindles. We do not have Nero Software.
Regards,
Carol

I am sorry for the confusion. The CD Burner is a Rimage (not Bravo) & the software is also Rimage. Both are up-to-date.
The faulty discs are rejected by the machine. We have retried them.
Is there anyway you can issue a RMA so we can return the faulty ones for credit?
Thankyou,
Carol

We have updated our Rimage software for our CD burner. We still having a few rejects in every batch of 100. I currently have 3 spindles of 100 each rejects.
Is it possible to return them for refund?

Hi Carol, when returning discs we can only accept back for refund unused discs. Disc burning failure is part of the course of disc production. The source of the problem may be your system configuration or a combination of the system and the media. Looking at your failure rate - i wld say its about 20% which is 18% over what woudl be considered acceptible. However since the discs are known to be of good quality, and it was not a batch problem we will be unable to refund. Please get back to me if you require further clarification. Kind regards, Nic Ranshaw.
