Dear Sir / Madam
I purchased the above disc printer which came with colour and black ink cartridges, and I also purchased another eight cartridges, 4 black and 4 colour at £27 each.
I recently contacted [edited]from CD-Writer to tell him about the problem I was having.
In the last few days I have needed to replace the two original cartridges with two new ones.
I set about doing this using the software provided, and after using approximately thrirty discs to run tests on using the clen/purge facility, i was still having problems with the magenta/red aspect of the print outs.
[edited]suggested that I replace the cartridegs with tow new ones, which I did, and pretty much the same problem was occurring.
He then suggested that I wet a bundle of paper towels approximately half an inch thick, and leave the cartridgres standing upright on this over night. Then I had to wipe the nossel part the next day and try them again.
This improved the print out marginally, but still wasn't great.
If indeed this is the issue, where the cartridges would run dry/unuseable, I certainly wouldn't have purchased this amount at the time.
Can you tell me where I stand with you with regards to this please?

I have just received confirmation from my Dispatch Team that replacement inks (one new colour and one new black plus opened black) have been sent to you today for delivery on Monday. You will receive credit for the rest cartridges (credit note will be sent to you separately).
