Hi, It maybe a case of the sensor contact on the print carriage being dirty. You might need to clean it. Steve

Hello mate
I think it was cleaning it that made it worse. Firstly the printer seemed to be printing excess ink on to the discs. So i used the printers self-cleaning function quite a few times, with no success. So I cleaned the printer by hand. Would print nothing at all and then after a while it started telling me I was out of ink, even though I had put new cartridges in.
thanks
Stuart

Hi I think you will need to speak to copytrax. Sounds like there could be a faulty ink carriage. Are you using genuine Epson Inks?

Sometimes we do, but sometimes we use other inks. There hasn't been a problem with it so far and we have done a lot of printing on it.
Ok, I'll give them a ring. Really we just need to get it fixed so we can carry on working.
thanks, Stuart

Ok, just spoke to Jamie at Copytrax, and I'm gonna send it back to them so they can fix it.
